Fees include the costs of all reference materials, computer time (one computer/person), continental breakfast, and breaks. Individual participants are responsible for their own travel, meals, and lodging expenses.

When making your room reservations, please be sure to mention that you are attending the Pavement Managment MicroPAVER Course sponsored by the University of Illinois. Please note that room availability and published rates cannot be guaranteed after the listed cut-off dates. To avoid this, please make your reservations as soon as possible. The hotels will typically release blocked rooms four weeks prior to the first day of the course.

Sleeping room cut-off date: November 13, 2009
A block of sleeping rooms have been reserved at a rate of $89
single/double occupancy for non-government employees. The prevailing government per diem rate will be charged for government employees. All sleeping room rates will
include tax. These rates are available from Sunday, December 13
through Thursday, December 17. Based on availability, the group
rate will be offered 3 days pre and post conference.
Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort Sleeiping Room Reservation - You can enjoy the convenience of making your hotel reservations online. You can make, modify and cancel your hotel reservations online, as well as take advantage of any room upgrades, amenities or other services offered by the hotel.
Participants will receive current reports and manuals on the MicroPAVER System. The reference materials will serve the dual purpose of providing a textbook for the course, as well as a valuable reference tool for your future use.
Each participant in the comprehensive course will receive a certificate of participation and 1. 6 CEUs (Level 1) and/or 2 CEUs (Level 2) and/or 3.6 CEUs (Level 1 & Level 2) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for completion of the course. CEUs are nationally recognized units of achievement that can be used as evidence of increased performance capabilities and for job advancement.
An income tax deduction may be allowed for education expenses undertaken to maintain or improve professional skills. This includes travel, meals, and lodging (see Treas. Reg. 1.162-5; Coughlin vs. Commissioners 203 F 2d 307).
If you register and find you cannot attend, you may send a substitute in your place. If you cannot find a substitute, you may cancel before November 23 by contacting the Technical Assistance Center (800-895-9345) for a full refund. If you cancel on or after November 23, a refund less $400 processing fee will be made. If you do not contact the Technical Assistance Center prior to the first day of the course, no refunds will be given.
